At 13 years old Jayla is celebrating her 5th Diaversary. After 5 years of living with type 1 diabetes, diagnosed at 8 she has faced ups and downs of managing her condition with courage and determination. Despite the daily routines of blood sugar checks and insulin injections, Jayla continues to thrive, finding joy in activities she loves- specially going to diabetes camp, where she connects with friends that understand her journey. Camp has become a special place, filled with adventure, support and fun. Jayla's strength and positivity shines through, proving that diabetes is just one part of her amazing story.
